Macdonald New Blossoms Hotel Chester

Central Location , room was nice , warm and spacious

This is obviously a blast from the past. It was once a luxury hotel but is now showing signs of age. Wear and tear is showing. However, I loved the place. Truly atmospheric. Central, close to the wall walk, a must. The true highlight of the place is the staff. 3 young women who do everything and are truly brilliant. The price of my 2 night stay made it, in my opinion, an absolute bargain.

Location excellent, close enough to the station, walking distance. Reception Staff very accommodating, especially Vicky, who kindly arranged to upgrade our room for our 2nd night.

Location is ideal as it is in the middle of Chester centre, room was good (although I would have preferred it if the window wasn't screwed shut) I appreciate that this may be either for safety reasons or due to the air conditioning in the room but some fresh air would have been nice, also a couple of other small things like the tea/coffee being virtually empty when we arrived in the room, also the 'wardrobe' was quite short, so my partners dress (for the races) trailed along the floor in the wardrobe.... On the whole, minor irritations and the whole visit and the staff more than made up for this, would definitely stay here again... Cannot comment on the breakfast as we didn't have it, I'm sure it will have been good, but seemed quite expensive at £22 per person (per night).... I would suggest to people staying to go and get breakfast from a local small business cafe (which we did on both mornings)

Excellent Rooms,Excellent Staff,Very Peaceful Location,Good Coffee and Tea Facilities. Very Impressed by the Businesses Continual Generous Charitable Donations. Good 📺 Televisions .An Excellent Central Location For Shopping,Restaurants and Cafes.
